The Uganda Independence Celebration in Thailand was a huge success! Ugandans came together to celebrate our beautiful nation’s heritage and unity. We were honored to be joined by friends from Zimbabwe, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria, the Philippines and many more nationalities who made the day even more vibrant. It was a day filled with laughter, music, dance, and true African spirit. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the celebration memorable. Together, we showed that Africa is one big family!
This Easter, the Ugandan community in Thailand came together for a joyful celebration known as the Easter Bonanza — a day filled with laughter, unity, games, music, and cultural expression.
Families, friends, and well-wishers joined in to share in the Easter spirit, strengthening bonds and celebrating the values that unite us. It was a true reflection of community, culture, and togetherness.
We thank everyone who made the event memorable and continue to uplift the Ugandan spirit abroad.
As part of our mission to proudly fly the Ugandan flag beyond borders, the Uganda Cranes Thailand team traveled to Nakhon Pathom for a friendly match against Nakhonpathom FC.
In an exciting and high-energy game, the visitors delivered an outstanding performance, securing a remarkable 11–5 victory!
This match not only showcased the talent and teamwork of our men’s team but also strengthened our presence and unity as Ugandans in Thailand.
Together, we keep raising the flag higher!
Uganda proudly took part in the Africa Day 2025 celebrations held in Bangkok, with the Routes of the Pearl cultural group delivering an outstanding performance. Their traditional dances drew admiration from guests around the world, showcasing the richness of Ugandan heritage.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Uganda High Commission in Malaysia for their continued support in promoting our culture on the global stage.

Over the weekend, the newly elected cabinet of the Ugandan Community in Thailand had the honor of visiting the Consulate of Uganda in Bangkok. Accompanied by the outgoing leadership, this visit marked the official handover and recognition of the new leaders by the consulate officials.
It was a moment of unity, reflection, and renewed commitment to serving our community. We thank the previous cabinet for their dedicated service and guidance, and we look forward to working closely with all Ugandans in Thailand to build a stronger, more connected community.
